The Credentialing Committee is seeking a Class Monitor for the upcoming certification study group to be held from August to November 2009.  For more information or to register for the class, click here.

This stipend is equivalent to the cost of one (1) class registration fee and will require the grantee to fulfill a role of a Class Monitor. The duties and responsibilities will include maintaining attendance log, administering evaluations for each facilitator at the end of each module, setting up the laptop and the classroom to best utilize the technology and space provided by the Time Warner Cable Company.

Criteria for obtaining tuition stipend to attend
one (1) semester of PHR/SPHR certification course provided by AHRMA.

1. One page essay, single spaced, as to why you should be selected for the Class Monitor Scholarship.

2. Copy of current resume or your most recent resume with an update for your current position and responsibilities.

3. Must be active AHRMA member with paid up dues.

4. Should have solid 2 years experience in exempt full time HR role.

5. Should hold minimum of an Associate degree.

6. Must have daily access to computer to communicate with the Chair of Credentialing Committee.

7. Should be proficient in Excel and Word for spreadsheets and templates for weekly reports.

8. Acceptance of stipend requires 100% attendance during the PHR/SPHR semester as well as recruiting a back-up assistant to step-in during the Class Monitor’s absence.

Information should be forwarded to the attention of Credentialing Committee Chair certification@austinhumanresource.org no later than July 18, 2009 (Saturday). The Committee Chair will review the applicants and announce the selected candidate by July 22, 2009.
