2010 Officer Slate Approved!

The 2010 slate of candidates for the 2010 AHRMA board were respectfully submitted, voted on and approved by the membership present at the September 17, 2009 luncheon meeting. We also voted on updated by-laws that extend board terms from one-year terms to two-year terms with staggered elections. See this post for more information. The staggered two-year terms allow for better continuity, succession planning and achievement within the elected role.

By-Laws Changes Approved!

Each year a review of the existing AHRMA By-Laws is conducted by the President-Elect and President in consideration of proposed initiatives for the next year’s Board. As a result of this year’s review, the following recommendations have been made – submitted to the AHRMA Executive Committee and approved, submitted to SHRM and approved, and now approved by the membership present at the September 17, 2009 luncheon meeting.

SHRM Foundation Raffle Winners Announced!

The SHRM Foundation held a raffle during the 2009 AHRMA Conference. The raffle raised $700 in donations, which will go back to the SHRM Foundation to help fund scholarships and educational resources for HR Professionals. Winners announced!!!
