It is with great sadness we communicate that Mary Pruett passed away on December 16th. Mary was a very committed AHRMA member since 2000 and diligently served the Membership Committee in previous years. She also worked tirelessly each year at the AHRMA Annual Conference.
Unfortunately earlier this year she was diagnosed with an illness and was not able to be as active within AHRMA as she would have liked. If you had the privilege to know Mary, you know that she was one of the most kind, generous, thoughtful and helpful individuals that would ever meet. She was one of those people that would have given you the shirt off their back if you needed it, with no questions asked! Throughout the recent year, I never heard her lose her wonderful spirit and faith.
Visitation is tonight; Friday, December 18th from 7p.m. – 9p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home (4435 Frontier Trail, Austin 78745). The services are this Saturday, December 19th at 1p.m., also at the Harrell Funeral Home. An arrangement will be sent on behalf of AHRMA. Mary is survived by her husband, Timothy Pruett. If you would like to send a card, please mail to the AHRMA office and it will be sent to her husband on your behalf.
Please keep her family in your thoughts. AHRMA has lost a very special member and volunteer. She will be missed tremendously throughout AHRMA!

What Eileen has written about Mary is so very true. She was a wonderful AHRMA volunteer, serving also on the Programs Committee doing all of the meeting coordination for a couple of years. She could be counted on and will be so very missed.
