AHRMA’s Membership Committee has developed an exciting new program for our Members in Transition, while they are seeking new opportunities. If something comes up and you discover that you suddenly cannot attend an AHRMA luncheon that you have already paid for, please email Georganne Duron on the Membership Committee, at —- memberintransition@austinhumanresource.org — to donate your luncheon reservation to a Member in Transition.
Likewise, all Members in Transition who are interested in attending the monthly luncheon at potentially no cost should also email Georganne at this same email address as soon as possible, to be placed on the stand-by list. If an available paid reservation opens up, Georganne will contact these members in the order of receipt of the requests and extend the offer of utilizing the donated reservation.
We hope this new program provides opportunities for some Members in Transition to attend the luncheons and benefit from this valuable networking opportunity, while also allowing members who have paid but then cannot attend at the last minute, to know that their reservation donation has been put to good use!
