AHRMA, Present in the Community, Now and in the Future
Volunteers from AHRMA assisted at The Multi-Ethnic Chamber Alliance Career and Opportunities Job Fair. (MECA) founded in 2002, is formed by the Austin Asian American Chamber of Commerce, the Capital City African-American Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. MECA has joined to be an educational networking resource for minority and woman-owned businesses and the community at large. Resources to be shared included training session on topics such as job search techniques, resume development, interview skills, as well as sixty-five exhibitors with job opportunities.
Volunteers from AHRMA included Carol Powell, Melissa Salinas, Linda Wisherd, Judy Alloway, Greg Gaynier, Brooke Jones, Claire Reynolds, and Lori Rohre.
Many thanks to the AHRMA Volunteers for supporting this endeavor and to the Diversity and Workforce committees as they continue to expand the AHRMA network.
